My passion for helping others have whole, aligned, and fulfilling lives was born from my struggles with health.

From 2016-2019, I struggled with three-late-term miscarriages and a very rare form of cancer. I was living to work and sacrificing my health in EVERY aspect of life.

My cancer diagnosis was the final straw! Long story short, I turned to Beachbody, now known as BODI, to help me get my life back on track. I decided to become a partner and the rest is history!

I've decided to dedicate my life to helping others who feel stuck, unmotivated or struggling with consistency take back control over their lives.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach (NASM), Certified Master Coach (PNL2) and
HCA Registered Health Coach™
(RHC™).

Maya and I have worked together for around 6 months. When we began our work together through personal training, I was at the start of a busy school year where I am a teacher. The stress of school on top of some medical conditions that effect my weight had me in a place where I knew I was ready to designate time throughout my week to take care of me, and prioritize my health.

I found a love for weights, something I never thought I was capable of.

The best part of training with Maya is how personable she is as a trainer and person. She is detail-oriented and does an amazing job of finding your starting point and being able to gradually build that up in a pace that is comfortable and attainable!

Frequently Asked Questions

I've tried and failed so many times in the past to lose weight. Why will this be any different?

Number 1, we are going to focus on your strengths rather than trying to fix all of your weaknesses. Number 2, we are going to use evidence-based practices and the science behind changing behaviors to help you lose weight and keep it off.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative relationship where we work together to identify your goals, your strengths, the current season and circumstances of your life, and how all of those fit together. From there, we work to create a customized plan and make adjustments along the way to keep you moving forward.

You are the captain of the ship and I function as your look-out. When and if I see you're about to hit an iceberg, a whale or anything else, I'm going to signal to you to "watch out".

Will you give me a meal plan?

The short answer is no.

The longer answer. You don't need another person in your life to boss you around and tell you what to do. If that worked, it would have worked already.

If a weekly meal plan is something that you would like to work on having, we will definitely work on this skill in coaching.

Will I have to track calories or macros?

Have to track calories or macros? No

Can this be a helpful tool? ABSOLUTELY!

We will work together to access what your current skills are related to nutrition. From there, you will be able to make an informed decision on if tracking your calories or macros is a good place to start in your coaching journey.
